π₯Ύ THE HIKING TRAILS OF THE CINQUE TERRE
β¨ Walking between sky, sea and vineyards
The Cinque Terre are not simply five beautiful villages to visit. To discover their most authentic soul, give yourself the pleasure of exploring them on foot.
Ancient trails climb through terraced vineyards, olive groves and fragrant Mediterranean vegetation, suspended between the hills and the deep blue of the Ligurian Sea.
Around every bend, the landscape changes: colourful villages appear between the mountains, the sea opens up on the horizon, and centuries-old cultivated terraces tell the story of this extraordinary land.
πΏ Take your time. In the Cinque Terre, the journey is part of the destination.

The Cinque Terre trails cross a natural landscape, and trail conditions can change due to rain, landslides, maintenance work or weather conditions.
Before setting off:
β Always check that the trail is open
β Wear hiking shoes or suitable footwear
β Carry plenty of water with you
β In summer, avoid the hottest hours of the day whenever possible
β Never attempt the trails wearing flip-flops or beach footwear
β Check whether the Cinque Terre Card or a reservation is required
π§οΈ After heavy rain, it is particularly important to check trail conditions and whether the route is open.
π STELLA MARINA'S RECOMMENDATION
If this is your first visit to the Cinque Terre and you would like to experience a true panoramic hiking trail, our choice is:
π₯Ύ MONTEROSSO β VERNAZZA
It requires a little effort, but the distance is manageable and it offers one of the most beautiful sights of the entire trip:
πΈ Vernazza appearing from above, nestled between the hills and the sea.
For something easier and more romantic, choose the Via dell'Amore.
If you are an experienced hiker and would like to dedicate an entire day to trekking, Riomaggiore β Portovenere will introduce you to a wilder and more surprising side of the coastline.
π One last tip...
Don't rush.
Stop along the trail, listen to the sea, admire the vineyards and take a few moments simply to enjoy the view.
In the Cinque Terre, some of the most beautiful memories are made on the paths between one village and the next.
Enjoy your hike! π₯ΎπΏ
